A busy Monday afternoon saw our medical photography team arrive in the ED with lights, cameras and microphones. A crew of doctors and nurses stood hastily learning their lines. This was not 24hrs in A&E....it was the filming of our new triage system, the One Patient Pathway.
We have blogged about our process changes previously (here). Now we were putting it into a visual form so the video can be used for staff inductions and patient information. It is fair to say we are not accomplished actors and both the staff working that day and our film crew were very patient with the multiple re-takes. 3 hours of filming is now magically 3 minutes of film (thank you Stephen and team in medical photography).
