Liz MacDonald, our amazing PA who has been one of the rocks on which the Emergency Department at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh has been built over the last 2 decades, was awarded the British Empire Medal in the New Year's Honours list.
We wish her very many congratulations for an award well-deserved, and just hope that the footmen at the Holyrood garden party will be able to make her coffee weak enough!
